About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Industrialization Engineer to join our agile team responsible for the development of the Upper Stage of our Maia Launch Vehicle. As an integral member of our multi-disciplinary team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end industrialization process of the stage, ensuring seamless transition to series production.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Streamlining Industrialization Processes
- Ease the transition to series production for certain sub-systems
You'll identify Components Off-the-shelf (COTS) that meet Upper Stage design needs or propose adaptations to simplify product procurement and optimize costs. You'll provide an industrial perspective during design reviews, adapting the product for easier manufacturing and cost optimization.
- Synthesizing Industrialization Strategies
- Coordinate with sub-system referents to align industrialization strategies and timelines
You'll support the Manufacturing schedule of the stage, defining the critical path and identifying Long Lead Items (LLIs). Additionally, you'll help quality control processes within the Team.
- Defining Supply Chain Strategies
- Select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance
You'll develop and maintain production plans and schedules, ensuring timely and efficient production of components. Your strong negotiation skills will facilitate effective communication between suppliers and the Team.

- Tech Savvy
- In-depth knowledge in manufacturing processes (especially metallic)
- Knowledge in non-recurring cost and recurring cost monitoring and optimization
- Experience in project management (planning management, quality management)
- Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage supplier relationships
- Delivery-oriented approach tailored to customer needs
