Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel - Insurance Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in Paris, France. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal support to our insurance sector team.

About the Role:

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be the point of contact for our underwriting departments and will work closely with our risk consultants to provide solutions that comply with applicable law and meet the needs of our clients and partners.

You will independently manage various projects and deadlines, provide assistance to our teams on complex legal issues, and support our international transversal teams.

You will also review and validate various technical contractual documents, act as a technical expert, and provide support to junior members of the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal support to our insurance sector team
  • Work closely with underwriting departments and risk consultants to provide solutions
  • Independently manage various projects and deadlines
  • Provide assistance to teams on complex legal issues
  • Support international transversal teams
  • Review and validate technical contractual documents
  • Act as a technical expert and provide support to junior members of the team
Requirements:

We are looking for someone with 8-10 years of professional experience as a Lawyer, either in-house or in private practice. You should have a Master's degree in private Law, preferably insurance law, and specialized knowledge in insurance law, including global programs expertise.

You should be proficient in French and English, both spoken and written, and have strong analytical and synthesis skills. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
