Job Overview
As a Sales Account Manager - Automation at Waters Corporation, you will be responsible for driving sales of our award-winning Andrew+ pipetting robot and growing awareness of our Automation portfolio in your territory. This role requires a strategic sales plan that drives growth of our automation products and services. In addition to a consistent track record in sales, the desired candidate should be driven, dynamic, a fast learner, a passionate networker, and a solid communicator.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales targets by visiting customers to highlight Waters solutions and penetrating key accounts in target customer accounts and applications.
- Develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accounts, running the sales funnel and improving conversion to closed orders.
- Present and sell Andrew+ pipetting robot and associated products and solutions, ensuring accurate sales forecasting and effective CRM utilization and maintenance.
- Maintain current knowledge on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and other critical business information.
- Provide information to the marketing team to build business development programs.
Qualifications
- Experience in life science instrument / tools / capital equipment sales, with technical knowledge and practical solution selling experience.
- Validated ability to prospect and negotiate to successfully close sales, with experience in selling into the laboratory environment.
- Solid understanding of life sciences research and highly hardworking and upbeat individual, successfully working in competitive sales situations.
