Senior Flight Simulator Engineer

We are BAA Training, a leading aviation training center in Europe, seeking a highly skilled Senior Flight Simulator Engineer to join our international team in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and coordinate engineering activities to ensure efficient operation of flight simulators.
- Source and acquire spare parts, manage inventory, and maintain stock levels.
- Liaise with flight crews to ensure smooth training sessions, providing guidance on IOS usage, techlog usage, and fault identification and rectification.
- Plan, evaluate, and improve operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Supervise preventative maintenance according to documented procedures.
- Ensure related documentation complies with procedure standards and TCA CAD requirements.
- Maintain and repair flight simulation training devices (electronics, computers, pneumatics, mechanics, and hydraulic fields).
- Manage AOG situation recovery.
- Use repair manuals and user manuals (in English language).
- Set and achieve short-term and long-term goals in accordance with company strategic goals, safety, and quality performance indicators.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by direct manager.
- University degree in engineering field (Aviation, Electronics, Informatics, Automation, Mechanics, or similar field).
- At least 2 years of full flight simulator technician or engineer experience.
- Analytical thinking, high level of responsibility, and ownership, with a result-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility with good time management skills.
- Ability to read drawings and schemes of electronics, electrical, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Experience in using and repairing electronic and computer equipment.
- Able to manage medium-complex engineering projects.
- Effective operational and independent level of English language.
- Knowledge of Lithuanian, Spanish, or French language (advantageous).
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office environment.
- Great problem-solving skills.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Ability to occasionally work in shifts (day and night shifts).
- Knowledge of EASA and CS-FSTD related regulations.
