Job Title: Information & Technology (IT) Manager

Accor is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing and operating the daily operations of our hotel's information technology and telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement technology-related processes and systems to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Maintain and manage I.T. systems, software, and hardware to ensure 24-hour coverage and reliability.
  • Analyze and resolve system questions and problems to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Ensure reliable data backup and emergency recovery operations are in place to maintain data security.
  • Assist with the selection and implementation of new system-related materials to ensure proper integration and interoperability.
  • Manage contracts with I.T. vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure accuracy and project completion.
  • Report the status of I.T. and telecommunications operations to the Director of Finance and Business Support.
  • Review technology-related operations and equipment to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and records of all system changes, updates, and enhancements.
  • Evaluate and define hotel and user requirements to determine the feasibility of purchasing requested enhancements.
  • Install software and hardware upgrades in compliance with Accor corporate policies and legal requirements.
  • Oversee a team of IT Technicians from all managerial and developmental aspects.
  • Prioritize user department workflow and recommend procedural changes to improve efficiency.
  • Focus on future business needs and profitability.
  • Develop training programs to increase user knowledge of systems and foster the use of systems to ensure high computer proficiency.
  • Coordinate system projects from initial configuration to installation, testing, training, cutover, and support.
  • Analyze issues to ensure maximization of revenue and control of costs associated with generating telephone revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures, systems security, contingency plans, internal controls, and standards.
  • Schedule routine and preventative maintenance, daily clerical functions regarding the integrity of computer systems.
  • Provide thoughtful leadership on operational strategy and processes within the overall business strategy.
  • Establish and evangelize service level offerings and agreements.

  • Enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated.
  • Strong technical background with specific requirements including detailed knowledge of operating systems, management and operations of PMSPABX/Voicemail/Call Accounting, HRIS, Sales & Catering, telecommunications knowledge and experience, including VOIP and videoconferencing, network architecture and systems design knowledge and experience.
  • 2-3 years experience in an IT supervisory/management role in a fast-paced luxury hotel/conference environment.
  • Certification or equivalent experience in one of more of the following.
