Global Category Manager

We are looking for an experienced Global Category Manager to lead our Spice & Herbs division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our sales, sourcing, and product management strategies for this critical category.
Responsibilities- Own the sales of Spices & Herbs category globally, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
- Apply your industry expertise to source the right side-streams and sell the right ingredients at the right place, to the right clients.
- Hire and manage a team of professionals to support your category goals.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan, including sales projections, market analysis, and product development strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, product management, and sales, to ensure seamless execution of category goals.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform category strategies.
- At least 10 years of experience in the spices and herbs industry, with a proven track record of sales and category management.
- Deep understanding of the B2B value chain, including quality and specification constraints.
- Strong network of industry contacts, with a reputation for integrity and expertise.
- Experience in purchasing and selling internationally, with a strong understanding of global market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to balance ego and drive results.
- Fluency in French and English, with proficiency in other languages a plus.
