We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at T.D. Williamson. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties will include:
- Designing and developing new products and improving existing technologies to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design and development activities are aligned with business objectives.
- Providing technical support and guidance to internal departments and external partners.
- Leading and participating in design activities, including concept development, product design, and prototype testing.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including design notes, manuals, and test reports.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Mechanical Design or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in an engineering environment, with a focus on product development and design.
- Proficiency in CAD software, including Solidworks.
- Experience in plastics parts manufacturing and machining is preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
