Job Title: Retail Sales Analyst

At Sinomax USA, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Sales Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our sales and replenishment team, you will be responsible for analyzing sales trends, creating data-driven sales strategies, and working closely with our Walmart National Account Manager to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain standard retail sales reporting via Luminate and internal systems.
  • Analyze retail sales trends at the item level, using data to project sales, determine profitability, and set targets.
  • Identify key marketplace factors that impact demand and sales, providing recommendations for solutions.
  • Support the preparation of presentations for sales meetings, developing strong working knowledge of reporting systems and transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Manage standard replenishment, forecasting, and planning duties, including creating and maintaining supply chain reporting, managing corrective actions, and working with internal factory teams to create seasonal pipeline supply strategies.
  • Work with Walmart transportation teams to maintain smooth and on-time execution, alleviating shipping errors and chargebacks, and ensuring OTIF compliance.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in sales or replenishment analysis, preferably with Walmart or a Walmart supplier.
  • Advanced Retail Link and Luminate experience required.
  • Well-versed in ASPEN and TSCP2.0.
  • Familiar with Walmart Shipping and Routing Guidelines.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and replenishing based on in-stock analysis and POS trends.
  • Meaningful experience driving sales via analytics, creating selling stories for sales executives.
  • Knowledge of SSO creation and submission, including data analytics to drive store lists.
  • Experience with additional facets such as lead time audits, item creation, monitoring the Walmart scorecard, PO extensions and cancellations, and general Walmart business processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience working with three-dimensional spreadsheets and complex formulas in Excel, particularly V-lookups and Pivot tables.
  • Excellent customer service focus, adaptable to change, and ability to focus on daily tasks.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills, with exceptional time management skills and ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with overlapping goals and objectives.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to maintain focus while working in a remote environment.
  • Must be able to interpret visual information and communicate effectively by phone, email, and face-to-face interaction.
Education and Experience:
  • 4-year degree in supply chain, logistics, business, analytics, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience, preferably.
