About the Role

Secours Islamique France (SIF) is seeking a skilled English Content Writer to join our digital team. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for crafting compelling content in English and adapting French content for our website, social media platforms, email campaigns, and digital marketing materials.

Your primary focus will be on creating high-quality, engaging content that enhances our online presence and drives traffic to our platforms. You will work closely with our Digital and Marketing teams to ensure content alignment with our objectives and brand image.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to crafting engaging editorial plans and content strategies
  • Create top-notch English content for our website, social media channels, email campaigns, digital marketing materials, and more
  • Seamlessly translate and adapt French content into compelling English narratives
  • Work closely with the Digital and Marketing teams to ensure content alignment with our objectives and brand image
  • Deliver high-quality, clear, and precise English content throughout the organization
  • Keep our content fresh and up-to-date to reflect the evolution of our programs and initiatives
  • Utilize SEO tools for content analysis and performance improvement
  • Participate in content integration into the CMS, adhering to SEO best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of bilingual web writing and SEO experience, preferably in an international context
  • Native-level English proficiency, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level)
  • Proficient in SEO tools and keyword analysis (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
  • Knowledge of web writing techniques (catchy titles, subheadings, article structure, etc.)
  • Sensitivity to environmental and humanitarian issues
  • Strong self-motivation and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities accordingly
