As a Senior Financial Analyst at SCOR, you will play a critical role in supporting the Corporate Performance department in its main tasks. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in planning and forecasting activities, including strategic plans, operating plans, and quarterly landing processes.
  • Analyzing quarterly financial statements, measuring performance, and identifying variances.
  • Developing a quarterly analytical and reporting package, as well as participating in the creation of internal and external presentations.
  • Supporting senior management by producing decision-support analytics, including simulations and sensitivities.
  • Participating in various finance and non-finance projects, such as FP&A process reengineering, capital allocation, and performance management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and coordinating the Group quarterly landing process, including consolidation of views, group and segmental analysis, and weekly updates to the CFO and Comex.
  • Rethinking the landing exercise to ensure efficiency and optimal resource allocation, integrating IFRS 17 aspects and considerations.
  • Extending analysis to non-IFRS GAAP measurements, including value creation, capital, and solvency.
  • Providing financial analysis to understand trends, opportunities, and risks impacting the Group's performance.
  • Measuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in financial services, preferably in reinsurance or insurance.
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, financial audit, controlling, consolidation, or financial consulting.
  • Knowledge of IFRS (particularly IFRS 17) and Solvency II.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with SAP solutions.
  • Business and finance education, or an actuarial degree.
  • Full proficiency in English, written and spoken.
