As a Senior Account Executive at OutSystems, you will be at the forefront of sales, driving the success of our company while developing and improving your sales and people skills in a dynamic and open environment. You will work closely with our field sales and solution architects teams to achieve your monthly quota.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand OutSystems' offer and competitive landscape.
  • Hunt for new business opportunities and logos.
  • Be the primary point of contact for OutSystems customers, leading the sales strategy, overcoming objections, and negotiating success.
  • Pursue upgrades with growth plans.
  • Map prospective accounts around organizational structure, people, and existing technology.
  • Engage executives in targeted prospect accounts.
  • Orchestrate discussions with senior executives around their business needs.
  • Demonstrate how prospect customers can capture value and envision their future with OutSystems.
  • Provide technical product overviews and insights pertinent to customer needs and usage scenarios.
  • Meet and exceed targets by effectively managing opportunities and pipeline through the sales cycle.
  • Leverage various channels to reach, sell to, and manage OutSystems prospect customers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of quota-carrying experience selling into the Enterprise space.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
  • Ability to recognize the stages in the buying cycle for each prospect.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully communicate with contacts via phone, email, video, and presentations.
  • Technical ability to provide technical product overviews and insights pertinent to customer needs and usage scenarios.
  • Desire to work in a competitive environment where growth potential is driven by abilities and attitude.
  • Ability to identify key aspects of a potential opportunity, nurture it to close, and manage the customer relationship through success.
  • General knowledge of the IT industry, with the capacity to learn and retain knowledge about individual products and business solutions quickly and accurately.
  • Achievement and success-driven personality, motivated by performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals through strategic sales leadership and strong cross-business collaboration.
  • Solid time management skills and ability to work independently or under supervision with a high level of integrity.
  • Understanding of and passion for the technology industry, with a background of prospecting to IT decision-makers.
