Affinity Executive Search is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our Canadian arm's financial control activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, accounting policies compliance, and continuous finance process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of accounting functions for Canada.
  • Responsible for accuracy of G/L and Financial Statements.
  • Lead and support on tax reporting, Internal and External audits.
  • Work in partnership with business units for risk controls and compliances with IFRS and company policies.
  • Work with HQ and Shared Services on continuous process improvements.
  • Responsible for timely and quality closes for month-end and Year-end.
  • Collaboration across our global organization to support internal accounting needs.
  • Lead other special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  • Eight (8) years experience in Financial Accounting, 3 years team leadership experience.
  • Experience in public accounting preferred.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Excel, Power Point.
