Main Missions of This Position

As an Operations and Maintenance Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of O&M Engineers and overseeing their performance based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will provide support for Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC projects by formulating the O&M Engineering scope. Your goal will be to ensure that the installations are easily operable and exploitable with complete safety and profitability, starting from the project phase. You will deliver optimal execution plans for initial operation activities to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative methodologies to minimize Operational Expenditures (Opex) and maintain plant integrity.
  • Contribute to the advancement of O&M methods.
  • Support O&M Engineering scope of work for future EPC projects, including schedule development, resource mobilization, and system deployment.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing Operations Readiness programs.
  • Participating in RAM studies.
  • Contributing to operability and maintainability studies.
  • Conducting Life Cycle Studies.
  • Leading subcontractors in developing maintenance systems.
  • Interfacing with corrosion departments to develop inspection systems.
  • Creating Asset Integrity Systems.
  • Preparing shutdown plans.
  • Developing typical lifting programs.
  • Creating training programs and Competency Assessment systems.
  • Enhancing hiring systems to mobilize future operations resources.
  • Contributing to the development of digital tools.
  • Ensuring training books and programs are properly prepared according to EPC SoW.
  • Ensuring subcontractors create O&M Manuals correctly.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering degree, or a Higher National Certificate in Engineering or trade background (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation).
  • Ten years' combined experience in Oil and Gas Operations and projects, including:
    • Ideal experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, specifically with LNG, as well as in the new energies industry, such as hydrogen, in a similar or relevant position.
    • A recognized Technical qualification for the Position.
    • Confirmed experience and knowledge to efficiently and safely carry out Start-Up and performance testing activities.
    • Strong command of spoken and written English.
    • An Engineering degree and experience in the fields of operation & maintenance.
    • Recognized business expertise.
    • Practical experience in operations of a facility plant, as well as the management and leadership skills to control the work activities and daily operations of the facilities.
    • Demonstrated understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control required for the petroleum industry.
    • A high level of self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work within a multi-discipline integrated project team.
