In a world where technology is rapidly evolving, our team at Dolphin Design is seeking a skilled CAD Support Engineer to join our ranks. As a key member of our CAD team, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support to our integrated circuit designers.
Your mission will be to identify and implement the most effective solutions, accelerating innovation, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring exceptional product quality. To achieve this, you will work closely with our digital design teams, supporting them in their use of provided flows, EDA software, and PDKs.
As a CAD Support Engineer, you will be responsible for developing scripts dedicated to the design of digital circuits in different languages, based on EDA software. You will also propose improvements to design flows to enhance productivity and product quality, conduct technological watches on EDA software and new methodologies, and participate in writing application notes, providing training, and demonstrations to digital integrated circuit designers.
We are looking for an experienced CAD engineer with significant experience (5 to 10 years). Ideally, you will have a comprehensive knowledge of the flow and all its stages. You will have a good understanding of the EDA tools used in digital Front-End (Questa, Xcelium, DC) and Back-End (Innovus, ICCII, Voltus) flows.
You will be working in a Unix environment, and you will have excellent communication and teamwork skills. You will enjoy being in direct contact with teams and providing valuable design support. If you are passionate about the digital world, have a desire to continually improve methodologies, and are looking for a position that will allow you to combine your technical expertise with a more methodological approach, then this position is for you.
