YOUR ROLE IN THE GAMING ANALYTICS TEAM

As a Gaming Data Analyst, you will be part of the Gaming Analytics team, supporting various initiatives aimed at enhancing and developing a premier product.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with product and business leaders to identify challenges and collaboratively devise effective solutions to enhance key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assisting product owners in formulating A/B testing strategies that yield actionable insights.
  • Proactively identifying customer pain points and working with relevant stakeholders to enhance user experience.
  • Contributing to the prioritization of the Gaming squad roadmap by leveraging your business acumen to deliver compelling analyses.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders within the Gaming team to refine their performance oversight with tailored KPIs.

What you can expect to work on:

  • Analyzing deployed product features and promotions, measuring their performance, and providing recommendations for enhancements.
  • Investigating promotional game mechanics to determine optimal parameters that align with business objectives.
  • Contributing to the development of data products from conceptualization to defining KPIs and analyzing outcomes.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Data Analytics (including internships).
  • A degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Economics.
  • Ability to anticipate stakeholder needs proactively.
  • A business-oriented mindset with the capability to understand business challenges and deliver tailored analyses.
  • Strong grasp of analytical methodologies and the analysis delivery process.
  • Contribution to roadmap planning with concise projects that add value to the team.
  • Excellent understanding of probabilities and their real-world applications.
  • Proficient in statistics and deterministic modeling.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, with the ability to autonomously extract and manipulate data.
  • Curiosity and the ability to ask insightful questions to comprehend problems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Agility and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

Highly Desirable:

  • Previous experience in the iGaming sector.
  • Familiarity with at least one data visualization tool, such as Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Understanding of stochastic modeling.
  • Proficiency in a programming language for simulation purposes.
  • Awareness of Git and version control concepts.
  • Knowledge of betting principles, including odds, probabilities, and margin applications.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

  • Technical assessment (SQL & Analytics) and personality evaluation.
  • Business understanding interview with the Hiring Manager.
  • Cultural fit interview with the Hiring Manager and relevant stakeholders.
