Audit Team Leader

Automotive Cells Company - ACC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal control systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and implement robust internal control methods and tools
- Deploy financial controls across the company
- Identify deviations and monitor corrective action plans
- Structure and contribute to the definition of missing or inefficient procedures
- Plan financial, regulatory, and accounting policy compliance reviews/audits to test policies and processes
- Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of the control system in place to mitigate risk and promote the control culture of the organization
- Report on control deficiencies to management and make recommendations to mitigate risk and add value
- Challenge current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinement
- Recommend changes in policies and procedures to positively impact the achievement of the organization's goals and objectives
- Engage in the remediation of identified issues through follow-up
- Play an active role in the maintenance and review of financial policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices
- Analyse the potential for fraud in the company's systems and processes
- Full professional accounting qualification (ICA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of IFRS and French GAAP in an international environment
- Considerable knowledge of accounting principles, practices, procedures, and generally accepted auditing standards
- Comprehensive knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements
- Big 5 Audit or Internal Audit function
- 5-10 years of experience
- Master's degree in Finance
- Agility, being responsive, ability to work in an international environment, and collectively with various parties both internally and externally, reliability
This position is to be filled at the Paris, Bruges, or Billy-Berclau sites. Our process usually involves 3 interviews: 2 technical and one HR.
