MUFG Securities Europe (MUSEU) is seeking a seasoned risk management professional to enhance and embed the risk management framework. The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with MUFG EMEA (MUSE) and MUFG Bank Europe (MBE) business and risk teams.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement an effective risk management framework to ensure risks are identified, quantified, and managed within risk appetite.
  2. Assess and approve market risk limits.
  3. Deliver risk reports and metrics to senior management, actively challenging and monitoring the risk profile.
  4. Partner with business and risk colleagues to support new business initiatives, evaluating against risk appetite.
  5. Work closely with EMEA risk colleagues to develop relevant stress testing scenarios and methodologies.
  6. Responsibility for the entity's risk appetite, working closely with risk colleagues and key stakeholders.
  7. Active involvement in the ICAAP, ILAAP, and Recovery and Resolution Plan.
  8. Representation in EMEA risk committees and forums.

Requirements

  1. At least 7+ years of relevant work experience in risk management with a financial institution.
  2. Experience in interacting with senior management.
