Clinical Account Manager

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to fill this key role in our Clinical Sequencing Division (CSD) European Sales team.
This remote, field-based position offers a unique opportunity to support the strong growth we have within our organization.
We are looking for a candidate with a background in Next Generation Sequencing and biomarkers clinical testing market, along with a strong network inside the pathologist/oncologist environment and a great understanding of the healthcare industry standards, guidelines, and reimbursement process.
The primary responsibility of this role is to promote our NGS clinical solutions to our actual & new customers (academic medical center, routine & pathology testing lab, hospitals).
Key responsibilities include:
- Opportunity pipeline management from initial contact to contract signing
- Maintaining and handling accurate customer information through Thermo Fisher Scientific CRM (Sales Force)
- Crafting strategies & tactics for developing existing and new businesses in targeted accounts, protecting current base business, and growing market share
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field, with relevant experience
- Demonstrable success in complex selling in the healthcare market (in vitro diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical...)
