Job Summary

Amazon is seeking a Principal Deal Negotiator to join the Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) team. The successful candidate will negotiate Private Pricing Agreements (PPAs), develop deal negotiation strategies, and analyze and develop deal terms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop overall deal negotiation strategies and negotiate PPAs
  2. Execute deal and competitive structures to maximize the value of opportunities consistent with AWS objectives and requirements
  3. Advise and provide thought leadership on the execution of competitive commercial, channel, and partner deal opportunities
  4. Provide expertise on deal structuring and advise key stakeholders on the impact of deal terms
  5. Engage directly with the customer on commercial and contractual terms
  6. Closing commercial transactions and briefing senior management
Requirements
  1. 12+ years of experience working with customers on substantial, strategic, and complex software or cloud services/infrastructure deals
  2. Proven legal expertise on large and complex IT commercial deal terms
  3. Bachelor degree in Law, Business, Economics or Finance (or equivalent work experience)
