Your Role

We're seeking a talented Tech Lead Backend Engineer to join our team and help build the whole product and underlying tech. As a key member of our engineering squad, you'll be responsible for:

  • Helping with architecture decisions to ensure a robust and scalable product while maintaining a great pace of delivery.
  • Leading an engineering squad of 5.
  • Contributing to the team's continuous improvement with new ideas, processes, and tools.
  • Building a robust and scalable micro-service architecture to handle requests, invoices, and payments.
  • Conceiving and implementing complex features like a dynamic form builder, workflows engine, budget, and analytics.
  • Leveraging AI to boost our users' productivity.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Fluency in English - our business language.
  • Proactivity, prioritization, and a willingness to thrive in our rapidly growing startup environment.
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Java Spring Boot, Kotlin, Scala, C#, Ruby, Go, Python).
  • End-to-end understanding of backend systems (database, authentication, API, security, performance...).
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architectures.
  • Rigorous about best practices (technical design, testing, code reviews, documentation, maintenance...).
