About the Role
At Workday, our Sales Executives play a key role in driving new customer growth through our Field Sales organization. With a focus on net new revenue, they are instrumental in guiding new customers on a journey to adopt our enterprise management cloud solutions. This team of professionals partners with customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver long-lasting value, ensuring customer satisfaction from day one and beyond. In this role, you will:
- Develop strategies for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territories.
- Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
- Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects, sharing our value propositions.
- Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
- ~8+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud-based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position.
- Experience negotiating deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities.
- Experience engaging in a programmatic approach to generate and develop leads within your territory.
Other Qualifications:
- Proven track record in a high-velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities.
- Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs, effectively positioning Workday solutions within accounts.
- Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
