About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Middleware Software Engineer to join our development team. As a Middleware Software Engineer, you will participate in various development activities focusing on Middleware for Android terminals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer requirements and draft technical solutions.
  • Participate in the development of features, test efforts, and documentation for deliverables.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of deliverables by supporting customers and fixing issues.
  • Define efficient solutions for customer requests, balancing expectations with complexity.
  • Work collaboratively with requesters, architects, and peers to achieve high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience in relevant software development functions.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Familiarity with management and reporting tools (Jira, Confluence, BI, ...).
  • Experience in the payment domain.

Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in C/C++ programming language (embedded system focus, toolchain), Java, Python, and Rust programming language.
  • Experience in Android internal and customization of Android for specific embedded devices and experience in the build process of Android systems.
  • Use of Linux OS for day-to-day activities and development.
  • Source code management tool (e.g., Git).
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Git, Sonarqube.
  • Use of IDE (e.g., Android Studio).

Desirable Skills

  • Android application development.
  • Clean architecture.
  • Cryptography.
  • Object and functional programming.
  • Dependency injection.
  • Build system: Gradle, Gradle plugins.
  • Testing tools: JUnit, UIAutomator, Robot framework, Robolectric.
  • Telecommunication protocol (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G).
