Job Description

The Qt Company is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our QA Software Tools sales team in EMEA. As a seasoned sales professional with experience in leading customer acquisition teams, you will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth.

In this role, you will work closely with our Sales Director to plan and execute on customer engagement strategies, leverage your technical knowledge to build credibility with clients, and develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers.

You will have a proven track record of structuring and closing large deals, and possess excellent people management and coaching capabilities to help your team exceed their goals. Additionally, you will have a goal-oriented and results-driven mindset to build go-to-market strategies and find and exceed sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the EMEA Axivion New Customer Acquisition team reporting to the EMEA Sales Director
  • Manage a growing team, coach them, and help everyone get the best out of themselves
  • Plan and execute on the strategic, operational, and tactical levels of customer engagement in co-operation with the Sales Director
  • Leverage your technical knowledge and industry experience to build credibility and provide value to your clients in the functional safety domain in regulated industries
  • Develop and implement smart customer acquisition strategies to grow the Qt QA Software Tools customer base
  • Actively build & maintain valuable senior relations with customers & prospects
Requirements
  • Study background and or working experience in Software Development
  • Understanding of software development processes and the common challenges and pain points
  • Experience with Safety Critical Embedded Systems is a plus
  • Several years of sales experience with a proven track record of structuring and closing large deals
  • Understanding in consultative value-based solution selling for technical products in a complex enterprise environment
  • Experience in building and leading new customer acquisition focused sales teams
