About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cost Control Engineer F/M to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our multicultural team, you will be responsible for delivering industrial projects of a scale, scope, and complexity that require innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Estimate total project cost at completion for complex projects
  2. Develop, update, and maintain project budget and forecasting
  3. Lead all cost control activities within a project, monitoring its financial performance
Main Responsibilities
  1. Management of the project cost control team
  2. Set up Cost Control Procedures
  3. Set up Budgets and the specific tools to follow the project costs
  4. Implement in-house digital solutions and their latest enhancements
  5. Estimate Total Forecasts, Quantity / Costs, and Expected Outcomes
  6. Provide support to the Risk Manager to prepare the Quantitative Risk Analysis
  7. Approve commitment control and vendor/subcontractors invoice
  8. Assist Project Managers in optimizing and improving the budgeted profits
  9. Prepare change orders / claims, and follow up
  10. Generate monthly internal Project Management Review (PMR) / external status reports (client reports)
  11. Support to Finance on hedging of foreign exchange rates risks
  12. Develop statistical and close-out reports, with a view towards improving feedback data and estimation tools on future contracts / proposals
  13. Contribute to lessons learnt through the project
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  2. 7 to 10 years of experience in a related field
  3. Confirmed experience (ideally 7 years minimum) in Engineering & Construction Industry within project environment.
  4. Professional English (solid oral and written communication skills in English)
  5. Rigorous
  6. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Team worker and able to chair meetings within multi-cultural teams and Clients
  8. Natural skills to set up good networking and Team spirit
  9. Natural leadership
  10. Organized to work with efficiency in a time-constrained environment

Seen as a plus: Digital culture, Background in a technical engineering discipline, Other experience in Project Control, such as: Risk Management, Scheduling, Estimating. All our positions are open to people with disabilities.
