Experienced Java Developer for Luxembourg Project

We are seeking an accomplished Java software engineer to join our team in Luxembourg. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications using Java EE 7 technologies.

About the Role
  • Develop high-quality software solutions using Java EE 7, including EJBs, CDI, JPA, and JBoss.
  • Analyze requirements and produce detailed specifications for application development.
  • Maintain and improve existing applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implement change requests and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation to support maintenance and updates.

Your Profile:

  • You have solid experience with Java EE 7 development and related technologies, such as EJBs, CDI, JPA, and JBoss.
  • You possess in-depth knowledge of data modeling and object-relational mapping.
  • You have experience in designing REST APIs and integrating them with backend systems.
  • You are familiar with integration and deployment tools, including Jenkins, Sonar, and Maven.
  • You have expertise in creating continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • You can work effectively in test environments, including running tests and debugging applications.
  • You are comfortable with version control systems like Git and source code management tools like Jira.
  • You have strong knowledge of SQL and data design principles.
  • You are proficient in working with Oracle database and other relational databases.
  • You can adapt quickly to changing technologies and innovations in application development.
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills and can collaborate effectively in international and multicultural environments.
  • You have a good understanding of IT security frameworks and best practices for secure application development.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and have a good command of French (optional).
