EU Sales Director for Biotech and Pharmaceuticals

We are seeking an experienced Director to join our Sales Team in Europe, focusing on the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to grow revenue from our software solutions and services, expand our product offerings, and cultivate current customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be based in Germany (Mannheim or Munich), France, or the UK, and will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.

The successful candidate will have experience in key account management, business development, or consulting in the chemical and/or pharmaceutical industries, as well as a proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies. Advanced degree in life sciences is preferred, with knowledge of materials science or molecular modeling being a plus.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive benefits such as health insurance, pension plan, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders
  • Lead high-level negotiations and close deals with key clients and partners
  • Collaborate closely with the EU+ team to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives and client requests

What You Will Need:

  • Experience in key account management, business development, or consulting in the chemical and/or pharmaceutical industries
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies
  • Advanced degree in life sciences (knowledge of materials science or molecular modeling is a plus)
