Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the efficient organization and execution of maintenance activities on our machinery and equipment at our glass tube site in Châlon, France.
As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance department is well-organized and that mechanical adjustments of machines during changeovers are conducted efficiently.
You will also be responsible for ensuring all parts on machines comply with defined rules, supervising the electronics department, and ensuring the validity of equipment through inspection.
Additionally, you will implement corrective actions, monitor equipment compliance, and maintain relations with regulatory bodies.
You will participate in the development of the investment budget and propose productivity improvements and new technologies.
Furthermore, you will manage subcontractors, organize interventions for breakdowns based on production priorities, and validate technical modifications with the production department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the glass industry
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken
