This is an exciting opportunity to work in the secretariat of the Department of Humanities, located in the heart of Luxembourg. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-level administrative assistance and support to research institutes and their members, including professors, research scientists, postdoctoral researchers, and doctoral candidates.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is €45,000-€60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This competitive salary reflects the importance of this role in supporting our research teams and ensuring the success of our projects.

Job Description

Your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to our research teams, including:

  • Coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements;
  • Managing budgets, expenses, and financial reports;
  • Developing and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and other tools to track progress and outcomes;
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents to communicate research findings and progress to stakeholders;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, communications, or a related discipline;
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, providing administrative support to research teams or organizations;
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Familiarity with database management and data analysis software;
