About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional support and training to our customers in the Europe region. Reporting to the SSE Customer Support and Training Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and training on AspenTech's petrophysical applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective support to customers, addressing their queries and concerns related to AspenTech's products and software.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality training classes, focusing on geoscience principles and upstream workflows, to ensure customers achieve optimal results with our applications.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Solution Consulting teams to identify and address customer needs, driving sales efforts and expanding our user base.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve our support and training offerings.
  • Participate in the organization and hosting of customer training courses and workshops, fostering a collaborative and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Reservoir Petrophysics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in petrophysical applications or a related field in the E&P industry.
  • Strong software skills, with a good working knowledge of at least one exploration and production software suite.
  • Excellent client interface skills, with a customer-centric mindset and ability to manage expectations.
  • High level of written and spoken English, with proficiency in French a plus.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Prior knowledge of Aspentech applications, particularly Geolog, is an asset.
