**Job Summary**

As a Procurement Manager for Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste Storage Projects, you will join the Purchasing Department of SUEZ Recycling and Valorization France, responsible for supporting operations and maintenance of the Waste division's entities, particularly the Infrastructure and IWS branch.

We are seeking an experienced industrial projects buyer to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for purchasing materials and services for hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage projects related to the ISD entity of R&V France and IWS. The candidate will also be involved in transversal missions such as coordinating purchasing actions for certain branches or business units.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing purchasing processes for excavation and sealing projects in the context of hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage, in compliance with company policies.
  • Leading the operational workload plan on various group sites, in time, by coordinating with the Technical Department, sites, and purchasing teams.
  • Identifying and evaluating suppliers, conducting tenders, negotiating prices and contract terms, and managing relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Collaborating closely with project engineers and other team members to identify purchasing needs and ensure that purchased products and services meet technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Proposing alternatives and new solutions, and developing a panel of suppliers.
  • Specifically, managing certain purchasing categories (such as the Terrassement category) for hazardous and non-hazardous waste storage projects and ensuring the management of strategic supplier panels by establishing framework contracts, optimizing costs and performance, and reinforcing innovation and RSE DD in line with the company's roadmap.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's purchasing processes.

Regular travel to sites is expected, approximately 2-3 times a month.

**Requirements**

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Purchasing.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in managing industrial projects purchasing in matrix and multi-site organizations.
  • Experience in maintenance and/or excavation purchasing is an asset. Knowledge of categories related to excavation, sealing, network, and quality standards, and/or civil engineering, industrial projects is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, take on transversal tasks, and accompany sites operationally.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Synthesis spirit to present different options, with the ability to analyze data to present implementation and improvement scenarios.
  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • You are determined, autonomous, rigorous, audacious, and have good writing and communication skills.
  • You have a good knowledge and use of Excel, as well as a good level of English.
