Pernod Ricard is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Insights Business Analyst Intern to join their team for a 6-month period. The successful candidate will be based at the company's office in central Paris and will work closely with the Group Marketing department to develop and deploy marketing and business strategic solutions for the Group.

The Business Insights team is responsible for providing strategic recommendations to the Group Strategy, and the successful candidate will play a key role in this process. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing quantitative analysis of the wine and spirits market, players, categories, consumption markets, and brands.
  • Tracking industry trends and competitor activities and strategy.
  • Sell-Out Data Hub champion, ensuring quality, reliability, and actionability of sell-out data in the internal SO tracking tool.

The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, with a previous experience in strategy, business analytics, category management, or market data providers. They will also be fluent in English and have advanced MS Office knowledge, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. Additionally, they will be rigorous and detail-oriented, autonomous, proactive, and with a strong sense of ownership for their responsibilities.
