Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to join our team at Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs to existing furniture, doors, and windows, as well as fabricating new furniture and performing other related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs to existing furniture, doors, and windows.
  • Fabricate new furniture.
  • Repair door locks.
  • Perform furniture polishing work.
  • Assist in decoration work for functions.
  • Ensure thorough familiarity with all regulations regarding safety at work and observe these meticulously at all times.
  • Maintain cleanliness at the place of work and on the job after completion of work.
  • Ensure cleanliness of appearance and uniforms, particularly when working in guest areas.
  • Be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub sections of the Engineering Department.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned by the Engineering Supervisor and the Assistant Director of Engineer.
