Job Summary

As a Global Client Executive at NetApp, you will be responsible for selling our products and professional services to key global enterprise customers. Your ability to penetrate new divisions and organizations within your assigned accounts is crucial to your success in this role. Our cross-functional teams provide support and tools for you to leverage to attain and exceed sales performance goals. Healthcare insurance industry experience is highly desired.

This position will cover the Minneapolis, MN area, and you will work closely with District Managers, Sales Representatives, and channel partners. Occasional travel outside of the region may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work directly with assigned customers to capture sales opportunities and develop new selling relationships within assigned partner accounts.
  2. Use relationship management techniques to penetrate new divisions and organizations within assigned partner accounts.
  3. Schedule and attend sales call appointments with prospects, and determine if the customer has a valid business need for NetApp products and professional services.
  4. Propose evaluation test projects to enable customers to test products in their own environment, and determine acceptance criteria for customers to judge the success or failure of these projects.
  5. Build and strengthen business relationships with existing accounts, and follow up to ensure all post-sales needs are being met.
  6. Recommend marketing strategies, provide status information to your manager, and provide or facilitate training opportunities for your accounts.
  7. Identify NetApp customer references that can be utilized when reference selling.
Requirements

A BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of related field sales experience are desired. You should have broad expertise or unique knowledge, and be able to contribute to the development of company objectives and principles. You should also be able to achieve sales function goals in creative and effective ways.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation skills are required. You should be able to travel within the assigned region, and occasional travel outside of the region may be required.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $331,000-$445,000, and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package.
