Senior Network Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of our new HQ site's network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement a dedicated fiber optic line for the new site, ensuring high bandwidth and stability.
- Manage the ordering and installation of the fiber link to connect the new site to the main office.
- Propose and implement backup link solutions via a local operator with IPsec tunnels and Azure Hub to ensure redundancy and avoid potential downtimes.
- Collaborate with customer to provide and manage network equipment orders, excluding Fortinet devices.
- Ensure the network infrastructure supports approximately 80 users, with a focus on the artistic and audiovisual teams requiring strong support for graphic-heavy applications.
- Account for guest users and ensure specific VLAN configurations, especially for Wi-Fi segmentation.
- Support cloud-based services such as Azure, web applications, and streaming videos.
- Ensure all network equipment is set up and configured before the site opening.
- Conduct testing and validation of security configurations, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Integrate the new site with existing sites, ensuring seamless VPN connections to other offices.
- Implement additional security measures, including VPN, firewall, and network segmentation.
- Ensure the network connection is redundant to prevent any potential downtimes.
- Proven experience as a Network Architect or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of network architecture, design, and implementation.
- Experience with fiber optic connections, IPsec tunnels, and Azure Hub.
- Strong understanding of VLAN configurations, Wi-Fi segmentation, and cloud-based services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Fortinet devices and configurations.
- Familiarity with media-heavy and graphic-heavy application support.
- Knowledge of security best practices and redundancy planning.
