About the Role
The EssilorLuxottica Group is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join its Lens Innovation Master Data Management department. This role will play a key part in the deployment of the global product referential, driving deep transformations in IT systems and organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Structure, maintain, and develop the reference base for raw materials, consumables, machines, and spare parts.
- Analyze needs and identify necessary data for the reference base in collaboration with GLI experts.
- Supply data to other MDM administrators for the construction and evolution of other MDM referentials/catalogs.
- Provide data for production, procurement, supply chain, and finance.
- Ensure data quality through expert validation, compliance with standards, and consistency.
- Offer technical support to MDM teams and users.
Requirements
- Educational background in engineering or business.
- First experience in a procurement, engineering, and manufacturing environment, working with databases.
- Good knowledge of production processes and machines is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including intercultural interactions, and written/oral English is essential.
- Knowledge and mastery of IS tools, such as EBX, PLM, and SAP.
- Autonomous and analytical person with a customer-oriented and collaborative spirit.
