Category Manager Senior Lead

As a Category Manager Senior Lead at McCormick, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our commercial strategy to maximize market share in the retail channels you are in charge of. This involves analyzing performance data and identifying areas for improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the KAM and Category Management team to define and implement growth levers for Sell Out and Market Share in your retail channels.
- Act as a Category Partner with the client to build a shared vision of the category strategy to drive growth together.
- Collaborate with the field teams to ensure optimal implementation of our business plans.
- Identify risks and opportunities with clients, monitor competitor actions, and recommend or implement action plans to ensure our performance.
- Manage and train a Category Manager.
Desired Profile:
- Business school degree or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of professional experience, preferably in a leading FMCG company, in Category Management or Sales Force roles, with a first experience in management.
- Good knowledge of the French retail market.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make strategic decisions.
- Business acumen and result-oriented mindset.
- Ownership and ability to drive projects forward in complex negotiation environments.
- Team player with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence various profiles internally and externally.
- High resistance to pressure, rigor.
- Leadership skills and ability to drive forward in a complex environment.
- Master of Distributor and Consumer panels, pack office.
