Technical Roadmap Definition

In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the technical direction of the project. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining the technological vision of the project and overseeing technical deliverables.
  • Ensuring the coherence, efficiency, scalability, modularity, and compatibility of features.
  • Promoting good software architectural practices and programming standards.
  • Evaluating existing engines and tools to determine their strengths and weaknesses, and recommending those that best meet project objectives and expectations.
  • Ensuring the game's optimal performance and providing project teams with the necessary tools to produce required content.
  • Leading the development efforts of the technical department and providing mentorship.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all technical matters at director-level discussions for the project.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A solid experience in coding or other relevant experience.
  • Confidence in your ability to lead technical teams and have a real impact on tech decisions.
  • Good knowledge of the video game industry and experience contributing to the release of different games.
  • Experience working within various game engines.
  • Autonomy, proactivity, and comfort with communication exercises.
  • A good level of English, both oral and written.
