We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Specialist to join our team in Doha, Qatar.
Job Purpose:The successful candidate will be responsible for driving an incident-free environment through establishing and maintaining a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the development and maintenance of an incident-free environment through maintaining a strong safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, company standards, and procedures for continuous process, operational safety, and plant integrity.
- Provide robust PPM and CM data with good engineering practice and company standards to support safe and efficient planning, preparation, execution, and close-out of base operations, campaign, and shutdown maintenance activities.
- Manage the repair process for critical equipment, including visits to local vendor workshops and warehouses.
- Review Quality Control allocated to Materials to optimize supply lead-time.
- Conduct the review of MRP to set an appropriate level of safety stock to functional locations.
- Create Material SAP ref. or update the material cards where required.
- Identify duplicate material SAP ref.
- Clear material cards on an urgent basis to allow supply (block for Procurement).
- Define critical spare parts to allocate to offshore stock.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years offshore level on-field equipment in diversified oil and gas processing or petrochemical plants.
- Fluent in English with both written and verbal communication.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Minimum of 7- years' experience working in the oil and gas industry in a similar role.
- Skilled and experienced in working in a multi-cultural and highly technical specialized environment.
- Thorough understanding and application of industry process safety guidelines and procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of cross-discipline maintenance requirements, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and planning processes.
- Expert user of SAP Maintenance module.
- Skills on repair and stock strategy.
- Versatile, resilient, and able to interact effectively with peers and management on a daily basis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a large team.
- Medically fit to travel to offshore oil and gas platforms.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Candidate Criteria:- Minimum level of experience required: 6 years or more.
- Required authorizations: Fit to work, valid H2S & T-BOSIET trainings.
- Languages: English (C-Professional working proficiency).
