Role Overview

As part of our expansion, we are excited to announce an opportunity for a Risk Manager to join our project delivery team.

The Project Risk Manager will spearhead the formulation and execution of the risk management framework for the assignment. You will serve as the primary contact for all Risk Management initiatives throughout the program. Ideally, the Project Risk Manager will possess experience in quantitative risk evaluation related to both cost models and project timelines, and be adept at presenting forecasts and results to clients.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Project/Risk Management Consultancy Services to significant clients across both public and private sectors;
  • Facilitating the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications;
  • Ensuring the generation of formal project risk documentation;
  • Identifying and discussing new business prospects;
  • Cultivating and maintaining client relationships;
  • Enhancing delivery methodologies and client service offerings.

Required Qualifications

  • A university degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline;
  • Proven experience in managing risk on large-scale construction projects;
  • Strong technical project management capabilities;
  • Self-motivated – capable of initiating both business development and project delivery activities;
  • Ability to identify and influence key decision-makers;
  • As the client relies on Turner & Townsend for risk management, it is crucial that the Project Risk Manager can effectively articulate and present information in a clear and comprehensible manner.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the role.
  • Proficiency in both English and French.
