Job Description

Job Title: Senior Functional Safety Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Safety Expert to join our team at Stellantis. As a key member of our safety engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our vehicles through the development and implementation of functional safety processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform safety assessments and reviews of vehicle systems and components
  • Develop and implement functional safety processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety requirements are met
  • Provide guidance and training to engineers on functional safety processes
  • Participate in safety reviews and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, physics, computer science)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in functional safety engineering
  • Proven track record of ensuring safety in complex systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with safety standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 26262)
  • Knowledge of safety analysis tools and techniques
  • Fluency in multiple languages (e.g. English, French)
