Android Firmware Developer

Job Summary
Ingenico Group is seeking a skilled Android Firmware Developer to join its R&D teams in Valence. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the design, development, and testing of custom Android operating systems for payment terminals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom Android firmware for payment terminals
- Collaborate with senior developers to ensure high-quality and performance standards
- Work on a broad range of components, including drivers, secure applications, boot mechanisms, and file systems
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of the team's expertise
Requirements
- Masters of Technology or equivalent in computer science, with a specialization in embedded systems
- Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, and Kotlin
- Experience with low-level programming, embedded systems, and related operating systems
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment and with version control systems like Git
- Fluent in English and French, with the ability to work in a global organization
