About the Role:

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging learning experience for students, adhering to the national curriculum and the institution's educational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a diverse and inclusive curriculum that meets the educational needs of all students.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that promotes high standards of achievement and effective resource utilization.
  • Monitor and support the academic and personal development of students.
  • Deliver high-quality instructional sessions aligned with the school's mission and educational philosophy.
  • Teach literature across various classes and ability levels, following established curriculum guidelines.
  • Develop tailored educational programs that cater to the diverse interests and capabilities of learners.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance throughout the academic year.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create relevant teaching materials and curriculum plans.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, maintaining discipline and a supportive atmosphere.
  • Provide assistance to students who may require additional support in their learning journey.
  • Engage in supervisory duties as per the agreed schedule.
  • Participate in collaborative meetings with parents and fellow educators regarding student progress and educational strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Education is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the high school level is essential.
  • Registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with the Competency Based Curriculum is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is necessary.
