About the Role
The Sales Country Manager is a key position within our organization, responsible for driving sustainable and healthy business growth in their assigned country. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be the ambassador of our brand, responsible for growing sales in your country while coaching and developing your sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of our European commercial strategy and formulate an annual country growth plan with a sales budget.
- Work independently within the frameworks of the plan and bear ultimate responsibility for follow-up.
- Stimulate growth through personal visits and insights, and lead a team of sales and account managers.
- Consult with the local Trade Marketing Manager to ensure optimal execution of trade marketing activities.
- Analyze and report sales results to make necessary corrections to achieve turnover targets.
- Understand the market and think omni-channel, basing plans and implementation on this.
- Create sales conditions within set frameworks and contribute to the development of store and online performance of customers.
- Maintain connections between customers, sales, and operations.
KPIs for Success
- Expand relationships with existing customers by proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
- Be responsible for the annual budget of your country.
- Deliver a 3-year country plan.
- Ensure employee satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration or comparable.
- At least 8 years of proven successful sales experience within international BtC distribution.
- Network within the juvenile industry or thorough knowledge of a professional Consumer Goods key account environment.
- International experience and mindset.
- Focused, motivational leader who gets things done.
- Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset and commercial acumen.
- Strong language skills in English and local language.
- Strong in relationship management and turning a conversation into a result.
- Good negotiator and challenger, or opportunity developer towards the customer.
- Combines strategic and numerical insight with operational decisiveness.
- Expert in the field of account management.
- Experience in leading a sales team.
- Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
