Job Overview:

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an experienced professional to join our Export Control Program team as a Screening, Sanctions and Human Rights specialist. This role will be based in Marignane, France, and will involve working closely with various business functions to ensure compliance with regulations.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with Screening, Sanctions and Human Rights regulations and Airbus policies.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of these regulations on the business, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support the Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Supplier (KYS) processes, reviewing shareholders, directors and diversion risks in line with Airbus policies.
  • Perform Sanctions and Human Rights screening in the Airbus screening tool, identifying alerts and dealing with them in compliance with Airbus policies.
  • Review transactions with Export Control/Human Rights sanctioned countries and parties, ensuring compliance with Airbus Directives and Methods.
  • Collaborate with the Export Control Program Office Screening and Sanctions Team to ensure harmonization, compliance and escalate red flags or business issues.
  • Provide legal support in relation to contract wording and negotiations, delivering Screening, Sanctions and Human Rights training to business functions in line with the training strategy.
  • Implement KPIs and reports on the activities, contributing to any specific action plan set-up to accelerate AH Sanctions and Human Rights compliance.
Your Profile:
  • Between 5 and 10 years of professional experience in Legal or in Export Control.
  • Legal background with experience on sanctions and export controls requirements and its application into the business.
  • Knowledge of US, EU and national sanctions and export control rules and regulations generally.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a good English level.
