Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and updates of equipment intended for research and clinical settings.
  • Provide on-site assistance in troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Ensure the functionality and safety of research and clinical equipment in accordance with current specifications and regulations.
  • Write technical documentation and intervention reports.
  • Manage car stock and work closely with the sales and applications team to provide excellent customer support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronic, and mechatronics engineering.
  • Extensive experience as a field service engineer, ideally with a background in research/clinical or diagnostics equipment.
  • Solid understanding of electronics, mechanics, fluidics, and optics.
  • Basic knowledge of natural sciences, diagnostics, therapeutics, and biology is desirable.
  • Experience with microscopy equipment (multiplexing, light sheet, deep phenotyping) is an advantage.
  • Fluency in technical English is essential. Knowledge of IT tools (hardware and software) is required.
  • Quality customer service, organizational, and planning mindset, combined with the ability to technically analyze problems to be solved.
