About the RoleWe are seeking a high-level contributor to lead our Commercial Operations team. As a Commercial Operations Director, you will play a vital part in unifying KPIs, enhancing cross-functional data-driven decision-making processes, and elevating overall performance monitoring and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Commercial Operations department by providing in-depth analysis of sales force effectiveness, correlating sales and field activities data, and delivering valuable recommendations.
- Propose innovative data usage strategies and use cases to develop customer-focused actions.
- Collaborate with various departments (Commercial Operations, Medical, Digital, Market Access) to align sales strategies with corporate objectives.
- Analyze competitive market trends and customer information to identify opportunities and risks, and develop proactive strategies accordingly.
- Review and manage current and future partnership service delivery cost structures, and performance metrics and implement continuous improvement measures in agreement with Management.
- Liaise with Executive Management and all departments to ensure smooth communication and informed decision-making.
- Strong experience in commercial excellence, sales force, and channel effectiveness.
- At least 10 years of significant experience in the operational management of commercial departments (Marketing, Sales, BUs, Commercial Excellence) in multinational companies.
- Proven experience in supervising external sales force providers and co-promotion.
- Data analysis skills focused on execution and variance management.
- Experienced operational management leader, primarily supporting sales operations as well as other Group departments and functions.
- Proven expertise in sales forecasting.
- Ability to work on and solve complex problems, particularly when the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth assessment of the environment integrating several factors.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make evidence-based decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in operational excellence and quality management.
- Mastery of negotiation techniques with a 'team player' approach to ensure optimum management of internal and external stakeholders.
