Financial Director

As a Financial Director at Lightsource bp, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely close of accounting books for legal entities across Central EMEA jurisdictions. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing accounting guidance to Finance Managers and managing liquidity requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and analyze financial information for senior management and the Finance Director.
- Produce comprehensive financial and commercial information in an accurate and timely manner.
- Act as a key bridge between the London HQ and Finance Managers in Central EMEA, communicating changes and developments swiftly.
- Provide timely and accurate analysis to support senior management with insights and data to inform decisions.
- Ensure quality, timely finance reviews of projects/portfolios to enable corrective accounting entries.
- Contribute to the oversight and timely delivery of management and statutory accounts for Central EMEA legal entities.
- Support the Regional Finance Director in improving processes, rolling out new accounting processes, and ensuring effective reviews of financials.
- Business Partner to senior managers in the EMEA region, supporting the Regional Finance Director in challenging the organization to deliver quarterly key performance indicators, forecast, budget, and targets.
- Good technical accounting skills, including experience of accounting under IFRS.
- Ability to build global relationships with people from finance and non-finance backgrounds.
- Experience working with complex financing and company structures an advantage.
- Previous experience working for an international, complex business with the ability to apply learning from previous roles to a fast-growing SME.
- Excellent written communication skills with experience of presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.
