Tendering Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Tendering Specialist to join our Pipeline Group (PG) on a full-time staff basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and consolidating all inputs from internal support functions to develop the Pipeline Group tender proposal.

• Develop the tender estimate, ensuring all inputs are approved and delivered in line with the BMS and tender schedule.
• Develop and distribute the ITT review matrix, ensuring all clarifications are consolidated for return to client.
• Establish and maintain an effective interface with internal and external stakeholders, including regional tendering teams and PG Management team.
• Draft internal tender authorisation papers, presentations, and documents, including presenting or supporting presentations to PG Management.
• Control the efficient performance of the tender through strict adherence to the tender schedule, action tracking, and close-out.

• Previous experience in a Tendering environment is desirable but not necessary.
• Effective communication and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate, track, and motivate the tender team.
• Thorough approach with analytical skills to consolidate, challenge, review, and present confidently all elements of the tender costing.
• Commercially aware and highly numerate, with the ability to work with detail and accuracy.
• Enhanced planning and organisation skills, with the ability to identify and effectively prioritise workload to meet multiple deadlines.
