Job Title: Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Barings, a leading real estate investment and asset management company. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our investment teams in the evaluation and presentation of new investment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models in Excel to evaluate investment opportunities and present findings to the investment committee.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, developers, and investors.
  • Conduct market analysis and trend forecasting to inform investment decisions.
  • Analyze asset class portfolios and prepare investment files for the investment committee.
  • Develop cash flow projections and profitability forecasts for investment opportunities.
  • Assist in managing and coordinating investment due diligence and direct parties involved.
  • Negotiate re/financing with local banks and prepare committee files.
  • Assist in negotiating acquisition contracts.
Requirements:
  • Excellent academic record and a Master's degree in finance, real estate, or a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in the acquisition or valuation department of a national or international real estate company.
  • Demonstrated interest in the real estate sector and a solid understanding of the underlying fundamentals.
  • Fluent in English and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with various players in the real estate industry.
