Global Tech Infrastructure Engineer - Senior Expert

Are you a seasoned infrastructure engineer looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a Senior Expert Infrastructure Engineer to join our Global Tech team at Pernod Ricard. As a key member of our agile team, you'll be responsible for managing our global server infrastructure and enterprise SAN architecture, ensuring seamless connectivity and configuration.

About the Role

  • You will oversee the management of our global server infrastructure and enterprise SAN architecture, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
  • You will assist the product owner in the continuous improvement of our product by integrating new compute technologies and recommending changes that support our business goals.
  • You will provide L3 escalation support for critical systems, including outside working hours as needed.
  • You will coordinate and troubleshoot technical integrations across infrastructure, application, and platform teams, ensuring implementation aligns with design specifications.
  • You will assist in developing standards, policies, and configuration guidelines, and document procedures for team review.
  • You will manage organization and inventory of all infrastructure hardware and software resources.
  • You will conduct routine audits of infrastructure hardware and software to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
  • You will coordinate and implement infrastructure changes according to ITIL framework, independently managing changes in mission-critical functional areas while adhering to established designs and configurations.

  • You will follow change management policy/procedure and proper documentation procedure.
  • You will ensure SLAs are met.
  • You will standardize with other chapter members to ensure services are delivered the same way across products.

About You

  • You have a degree in a technology-related field.
  • You have 10+ years of experience with managing Azure IaaS and PaaS, VMWare, Windows Server, and Linux in a large enterprise organization and at least 5+ years of experience with Powershell & Linux shell scripting.
  • You have deep expertise in infrastructure engineering and a strong technical background.
  • Ideally, you have experience with Veeam & Tanium.
  • You have strong communication skills, with the ability to talk with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are a team player and you have the ability to work in an agile development environment.
  • You have strong knowledge and insights into key challenges for the domain/family.
